Attorney Mary L. Pothoven
Mary L. Pothoven was born in DuBois, Pennsylvania. She graduated from DuBois Central Catholic High School in 1978. She received a B.A. in Communication Arts from Gannon University in Erie, PA (1982) and her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law (1987). While in law school, she was the student coordinator for the university’s outreach legal clinic at the Los Colinas Women’s Jail and worked at the University’s legal aid clinic. Ms. Pothoven is a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar Association.
She is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania as well as the Southern District of California. She is the current president of the Jefferson County
Bar Association. Her law career began after law school graduation in 1987, practicing in California in the area of Family Law. In 1994 she returned to her home state of Pennsylvania. She was employed with the Law Offices of Querino R. Torretti from January 1994 until January 1, 2019, when she established her solo practice at 531 Jackson Street, Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania. Mary L. Pothoven is a general practitioner. Her areas of practice include an emphasis on Social Security Disability, Real Estate, Wills, Probate and Personal Injury.
Jennifer R. Pothoven
Jennifer R. Pothoven is a paralegal and a notary public. She was born in San Diego, California. She graduated from DuBois Central Catholic High School in 2010. She received a B.A. in English from Gannon University in Erie, PA (2014) and a certificate of legal studies also from Gannon University (2015). She was employed as a paralegal with the Law Offices of Querino R. Torretti from 2015 through December 2018. She has been employed by Attorney Pothoven since January 2019.
